Vad gäller tvätt och impregnering gav han nedanstående råd.
- Tvätta stället vid behov. 40-grader för Gore-Tex och Breathable generation 2. 30-grader, handtvätt, för Breathable generation 1. Se tvättråd i plagget.
- Använd tvättmedel men aldrig sköljmedel.
- Centrifugera aldrig. Det ger ingenting för ett vattentätt plagg.
- Tropptorka hängande. Kör det riktigt varmt i torkskåp eller tumlare efteråt. Då ställer sig fibrerna upp och stället är redo för impregnering.
- Impregnera med spray anpassad för andningsmaterial.
