Efter en seglingsintensiv sommar har jag nu börjat drömma om en alldeles egen segelbåt i kategorin racer/cruiser. Jag har ställt upp ett antal kriterier under Drömbåten. Som ett första steg på vägen var jag idag ute och provseglade en Pogo 6.50. Tack till Daniel Fagerström!
Vilken båt! Byggd för att ensamseglas från Frankrike till Brasilien. Här finns möjligheterna. En otroligt stabil, sjöduglig, överriggad, snygg, snabb och innovativ fransyska om endast 6,5 meter. För mig var det en helt ny seglingsupplevelse. Båten är 3 meter bred och har nästan hälften (450 kg) av sin vikt i en bulb på 1.60 under vattenlinjen. Fast båten är så liten känns den som en riktig storbåt. Enormt styv och gedigen. Men ändå med seglingsegenskaper som en jolle. Just nu ligger den högst på listan. Vill ha!
Daniel och hans kompanjon har byggt ett eget bogspröt för gennaker.
