I helgen blev jag inbjuden att segla på Krister Gustafssons Mount Gay 30 i Motala. En grym seglingsmaskin konstruerad enligt Whitbread 30-regeln och utrustad för shorthandedsegling. Krister köpte båten i Holland 2008 och den är byggd i Sydafrika 1996. Vi lade ut en bana i Vättern på cirka 30 distansminuter och fick med oss en Dehler 36:a. Det blåste WSW 11 m/s med byar uppåt 13-14. Vättern bjöd på riktigt fina surfvågor. Dagens fartrekord blev 13.8 knop med lilla gennakern hissad. Tack till Krister för en fantastisk segling. Vilken båt du har!!!

Grabbarna i Team Hoffstedt såg lite blöta men glada ut efter att ha släpat upp gennakern som åkt i drickat och trålat där den satt fastsurrad vid mantåget i lä.
Enligt Krister är bulben sköldpaddsformad, avgör själva.
