I onsdags blåste det ostligt 5-8 sekundmeter med byar upp till 10 på MKS Kvällskör. Funktionärerna la en mycket bra och ganska lång bana. Det kändes rejält i kroppen efter 1 timme och 20 minuters intensivt kappseglande.
Efter en halvdan start lyckades jag segla upp mig till en tolfteplats på första och andra kryssen. Sen tabbade jag mig i tredje rundningen och fick ta en 720-graders snurr som straff. Kom igen hyfsat på fjärde kryssen men avslutade med en dålig sistakryss och blev till sist 22:a av 40 startande. Var ganska nöjd ändå. Segling är en svår sport.
Nedan kan ni titta på trackingen jag gjorde med min Garmin Forerunner 305-klocka. Från klockan exporterade jag en .gpx-fil som jag sedan la in i Visualsail för att skapa filmen. Programmet känns lite buggigt men oerhört kraftfullt och enkelt. Framöver hoppas jag att fler trackar sina seglingar så att vi kan se flera båtar på banan.

Jag har också testat VirtualSail men tycker att det är oerhört buggigt. Det kraschar varje gång jag försöker använda det och har ännu inte lyckats skapa någon film av ett spår innan det tokkraschat. Synd, för det är som du säger rätt enkelt att använda och har en rätt hyfsad coolhetsfaktor om man kan få till det 🙂
