Efter 115 sjömil med mestadels kryss i 10-20 knops vind(5-10 m/s) är jag nu förtöjd i Douarnenez. Och har just vinkat av min älskade Anna vid tågstationen i Rennes. Stort tack för all hjälp Anna!
Vi seglade alltså Lorient-Locmiquélic-Bénodet-Audierne-Douarnenez. Nu softar jag i hamn en vecka i väntan på nästa gast, Niclas Domack. Här har jag gott sällskap av 50 andra Minis som förbereder sig inför Trophée Map och Mini Fastnet.
Hur känns båten då? Jag är otroligt nöjd hittills. Hon är väldigt lätt och styv. Med max 96 kvadrat segelyta och min cirka 10 så finns det många växlar. Det gäller att vara aktiv. Nedanstående kommer jag säkert få äta upp men hon känns förvånansvärt torr på kryss i lite sjö. Sina låga fribord och ringa längd till trots. Kan det ha nåt med längd/bredd-ratiot att göra? Eller är det Pierre Rollands cirkulära linjer som är följsamma? Även som bobåt känns hon större än väntat.
