Bout-à-Barre, roderlina, på franska. Sen tog han en baguette och skepparn bjöd på folkis. Känns väldigt behagligt att vara ombord på en båt som helt balanserar sig själv på kryssen. The sun is shining and the sea is correct.

Verkar som en bra kombination med svenskt och franskt (folköl och baguette…).

Det är egentligen väldigt enkelt. Ta t ex lovarts lediga fockskot och knyt i rodret och sätt linan i en råtta. Ställ in rodret på 1-2 graders fallning beroende på trim. Du ser den röda tampen i rorkulten på översta bilden.
Trixet är att trimma båten väl så den är aningen lovgirig. Tror dock denna typ av Bout-à-barre är betydligt enklare att få till på en båt med två roder. Men testa och se. Ska nog funka på en Maxi 777 också. Vi har kört det även på halvvind och brant slör. Det stimulerar verkligen trimmet. Om man styr båten med segel och vikt istället för rodret blir man ofta snabb. Man kanske skulle börja köra som de trendiga cyklisterna, fixie. Plasta fast rodret :).

Om jag förstår rätt så är det ett roderlås ni arrangerar och sen trimmar så lovgirigheten balanseras av roderutslaget?
Har sett beskrivningar på mer komplicerade anordningar där de tagit fockskotet (eller en lina kopplad till en part i storskotstaljan) och dragit till rorkulten och använt en gummicord som motdrag från andra hållet. När båten faller så ökar segeltrycket och det drar rorkulten till lovning och när båten lovar för mycket minskar segeltrycket och gummicorden drar rorkulten till fallning.
