I helgen kommer Anna och jag försöka segla upp till vårt nyinförskaffade SRS-mätbrev på 1,16 med Alizé II på Gäddisregattan. Systerbåten Wigwam(261) kammade för övrigt hem onsdagsseglingen i Motala igår. Bra jobbat! Helgens program lovar tre bankappseglingar på lördag och en distanskappsegling på söndag. Det är en kul mix på startfältet med viss övervikt på långsmala skärgårdskryssare. Då våra kryssvinklar brukar ligga runt 100 grader får vi nog satsa på fart snarare än höjd även på kryssen. Och såklart den redan fullbokade regattamiddagen på Lilla Skratten. Styyrboord!

Vi seglade in på 20 respektive 29 av 35 båtar i SRS-totalen. Vi försov oss till första racet så det blev 30 av 35 i sammanräkningen. Väldigt kul och lärorikt att köra Pogon på bana inne i skärgården. Manövrar och segelbyten tar sin tid och det märks att båten är designad i en boxregel optimerad för längre bogar. Varenda centimeter inom boxen är ju utnyttjad så det finns mycket tackel och tåg att fastna i när det blir bråttom. Tycker ändå att vi hade många bra manövrar inklusive byte från code 0 till den stora spinnakern. Ett stort tack till Anna för suveränt gastande och en bra lektion hur man seglar gennaker/assy. Höjdpunkterna i övrigt var dels första kryssen på lördagens sista race som tyvärr blev avblåst. Vi kryssade fint med code 0 i den lätta vinden och rundade före ena Solingen och Expressen. Dels starten och första bogen på distansracet. Vi startade fint och stack iväg med code 0 och rundade först i vår klass. Sen öppnade det upp betydligt mer och vi bytte till spinnaker för sent och de andra rann iväg. I trängre skärgårdspassager finns det heller inte alltid så mycket utrymme att skära. Men vi lärde oss mycket och hade väldigt kul. Till nästa gång ska vi vara lite noggrannare med stackingen inuti båten samt sätta riggen lite lösare i lättvind. Bjuds det sen på lite längre bogar och mer vatten kan vi bli farliga :).

Det här gick ju bra……. Mitt första inlägg försvann visst i cyberspace.
Vi var lite oroliga när vi inte såg er vid första starten så det var kul att se Pogon lagom till andra racet.
Lättvind upp till 4-5 m/s är väl “vårt” väder i minitonnaren men det är inte helt lätt med taktiken på en kort bana så långt inne i skärgården. Kul i alla fall att segla jämt eller snabbare än både Soling och Express med SRS 1,05 mot 1,15 och 1,12 🙂
Nu när Pogon ligger i Sverige så blir det väl ÅF Offshore race nästa år? Du kan väl inte låta oss bli minsta båt två år på raken?! 😉
